In light of increasing international concern over our rapidly depleting natural resources and disappearing wildlife, The Profiles Series announces the production of a special edition program focusing on the responsibilities we all share, from industry to the individual, in taking care of the environment. Executive Producer Wali Waiters says, “It is important that we all learn what we can do to help protect the environment.” This special edition of The Profiles Series will take a close look at some of the ways in which we have missed the mark in our collective need to do all that we can to preserve and protect the environment, and showcase what some organizations and individuals are doing to set an example for the rest of us, whether by grass-roots community movements, or by big-dollar philanthropic contributions.
